Gets the job done.
Great for aquarium substrate, just make sure you wash it good, like 5 or 6 times thoroughly. Best kind of sand for fish since the sand isn't sharp at the edges and great for rooted aquarium plants. Looks really great in contrast with the plants and driftwood. It's not too white of a sand, I'd say ever so slightly tinged brown, like it was plucked from a clean tropical stream bed somewhere in the tropics.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Bought for aquarium substrate
I purchased this and divided it roughly between 3, 10 gallon aquariums. Pros: • Light weight and soft • Required little rinsing (but still recommend a thorough rinse) • Natural color and great contrast against plants and driftwood • great for live plants ( it anchors them much better) Cons: • might not do well with the gravel vacuum due to how light weight. But I have yet to test it myself. (Great for Corydoras and my bettas love it)
