I use Pill Pockets every day
I have older dogs who take medications daily. Pill Pockets are so much more pleasant than having to shove a pill down a dog's throat. My dogs readily eat the Pill Pockets. The texture makes it very easy to cover a pill. For most pills, I divide a capsule sized Pill Pocket into quarters. I recently tried another brand and will never make that mistake again. The texture was much more difficult to work with and the dogs didn't like the taste as well either. Almost too dry to use
Too dry! This order, and the last two that I’ve purchased, were not up to the quality level that I have come to expect after using Pill Pockets for many years. The last three orders have been too dry, with the pickets crumbling in my hand before I could put the medicine in the pocket. Great treat!
This treat is great for my dog that needs to take several medications during the day. I get the capsule ones so they can fit all the pills my dogs takes at one time. The center hole is large enough to fit them. She does not spit them out because she likes them. The only thing I don't like about them is that they are on the greasy side to handle. I'm not sure if that is so they do not stick but it makes them slippery. When you get down to the bottom of the bag, there is more grease on the bottom and the treats on the bottom are really greasy. Pill pockets are a life saver for giving medicines to pets!!!

These pill pockets really save the day and my dog loves them. Gobbles up her pill and does not even know it is there. My poodles love these.

The answer to administrating medicine
My pet would sometimes eat her food with meds mixed in and at other times she would not. This created a waste of expensive medicine and food. In the past, I hidden her meds in marshmallows, pieces of hot dogs or whatever just to get he to take her meds. None of that was healthy but, a means to an end. A friend told me about pill pockets and I immediately went to the pet store to purchase. They worked like a charm! No more wasted food or meds! There are 3 flavors that I know of. Should my dog not accept the chicken flavor I purchased after a while, there are alternatives; smoked hickory and peanut butter if I am not mistaken .
