This is a fantastic radio, easy to use, good quality, good reception, great sound.
This is a great radio for its size and price. It oozes quality and is very easy to use. It goes very loud for being a small unit. The sound starts to muffle at the top end but take it a notch down and it is fine and still very loud. No signal issues as of yet. Small compact radio with coloured information screen, can be used as a mains radio or with an aerial. My comments are only for use as a mains radio and not as a radio to be carried about. Pros: Love the radio sound and look. DAB radio is easy to use and preset 1 to 3 easy to use, overall very pleased with the radio. Cons: FM radio only shows hertz rather than stations, hertz mean very little. Presets 4 to 20 are quite hard to set. Great Dab radio for the price
Having 3 other Pure devices in the house I am used to good quality sound from these sets, however, due the size and method of construction it seems not possible on this model. To listen to news and speech channels, even when tweaked through the more than adequate settings control, it still sounds fuzzy unless you wind up the volume. That said, the radio otherwise has great specifications including sleep and alarm settings not normally found on sets at this price. Great little radio. Sounds bigger than you would expect for its size. Reception of DAB, DAB+ and FM, with full Radio Text (even on FM). Reception is via radio's own telescopic aerial.
