I always use fastclix it is the best finger pricker on the market! Amazing product!
A very important part of being diabetic is testing ones blood glucose and I would RECOMMEND this device. If I was not type 1 then this system could be costly for a type 2 if you tested more than 1-2 times a day. A Type 1 would need to ask their doctor or CCG if the drum lancets can be prescribed for this device and if they can then you would only have to pay for this product once until it breaks, you can use any brand of tester as this is only a finger pricker and the best one there is, it carries 6 lancets inside a drum which are easily changed before each test and the drum itself can be removed with ease and replaced within seconds this eliminates the need to carry spare lancets and manually change to a new one before each test not mentioning that some of these lancets can be heavily sprung loaded and cause a lot of pain when used frequently, this device has several levels of lancet stabbing depth to suit most skin thickness's - This will be my third fastclix device since my T1D 5 years ago so the average life span of this product to say it is used 6-8 times a day would 2.5 years so I can vouch for the quality of this brand - It would be worth mentioning that the other 2 fastclix I have owned and used were the "model 1" versions and this is the "model 2" version but from the first use I knew the quality had not changed the only noticeable difference is the smaller size compare to the first model. I recommended this device to a fellow T1 complete stranger on a NHS course and she was amazed at how such a small change in medical tech changed her approach to testing, finger pricking was a big fear of hers and over night her confidence changed.Read full review

If you need to stab yourself every day because of diabetes this device does a quick & painless job. It can be used with any brand of reading system so is not manufacturer specific. Lancets are in six shot cartridges so compact.

Brilliant
I bought this for my new meter (which is not the same brand). I have used one attached to my old meter and find it easy, painless and lightweight. I have to now buy the drums to put in it but it is soo worth it. I will not use any other lancet pen. The reason I bought it was because I did not want to separate my old lancet pen from the machine as it attaches to the machine. I am so impressed I am now going to buy another one for my spare machine.

Accu-check fastclix lancing device
My daughter finds this softer than other devices, and it has different settings to use according to the hardness of your skin,. She is fine on setting 2 and this is always enough for her to produce enough blood for the test. It has 6 lancets in one pod so no need to change the needle every time, you just click on to select the next needle in the pod. Would recommend especially comparing to other devices.
