  • Great upgrade !

This is the best upgrade I have ever done on my computer !!! Everything runs sooooo much faster than before. I used to have to wait for several seconds ( between 6 to 20 seconds ) or more , but now its almost a quick click away !!! I sure wish I had done this sooner, I have wasted sooooo much time waiting on things to load. If there is one thing you can do to speed up your computer, do this !!!!! You won't be sorry............ever again !!!!!

  • Added more Ram DDR3/Sdram to my PC Compaq (HP) Model CQ5700Y, Bought in April 2010.

My computer had the original 2 GB ram (DDR3, 10600, 1333Mhz ,240 pin Dimm, Non ECC, Un-buffered. it booted up slow and took forever to load web pages. I have Malwarebytes Anti Malware software program and run it a couple of times a week but my computer is slow. I Use Pinnacle Studio 14 video/audio editing software program and it runs really slow and can't handle large HD videos in MP4 file format. It takes forever to compile and render the videos. Then if the video is too big it makes a movie missing most of the video. I have Cox high speed internet with Essentials Technical Support. I called their Tech support and had them remotely run diagnostic and repair software to speed up my computer. It took about 50 minutes. They suggested I un-installed programs I don't use anymore. Also to store my videos on an external drive. The last thing the Tech told me was if I add the full 8GB (2X4GB in 2 slots) ram memory, due to Windows 7 64bit OS, it will speed up my PC even more. If your OS isn't 64 bit then the ram memory is limited to 4 GB. I took his advise and did everything he suggested. I just installed the new 8 GB DDR3 from Atech in Ohio. My PC booted up much faster than before. The websites too load faster and the windows error screen of "Script too long to load" doesn't come up anymore. I will edit some more videos this week and believe my Pinnacle software will work much better. When installing the ram it was a tight fit. I had to hold the computer on the opposite side as I pushed the ram into the slots. I seated the top then the bottom and the first time I turned on the PC it booted up. In System Tools It shows the new Ram at 8GB. Thanks Atech. Michael Hoffman

  • GOOD BASIC RAM

8 GB DDR3 for a basic Dell 7010 brings mine up to the maximum of 16. This is not fancy and is standard speed for wide compatibility over the Intel DDR3 10600 spectrum. Likely would work fine with any AMD chipset also.

  • Great Ram

It took a minute for my HP to recognize the upgrade but now that"s long past! Now my speed is doubled and the computer easily handles more apps simultaneously!! I'm glad I chose new Altech Ram instead of older or used Ram!!

  • Worked with DELL OPTIPLEX 380

Was not sure whether it is compliant with Dell OPTIPLEX 380 but after replacing old one (2GB), it was readily identified. I also upgraded Hard Drive to SSD and added a Graphic Card but CPU is still older ones. So, I am not expecting much performance improvement from it. I am happy with the price of Memory Chips.

  • Great RAM and great deal

I got this RAM as a Christmas gift for my brother's PC, and it seems to perform quite well. I haven't experienced any issues with it as of yet, and hopefully we won't for the remainder of the time that we use that PC. Heck, we could even upgrade with another 8GB for a total of 16GB (maximum supported by his PC) if he decides he wants more, and I would gladly consider this RAM in the future.

  • New memory, works as it should. I ordere...

New memory, works as it should. I ordered 2 rank by mistake. By itself, the PC had no issues, but it didn't play well when used with the existing 1 rank memory. Oh well, I have another PC I can use it in.

  • If you can build your own computers, You can make this fly with any game to date.

I am a content creator, this upgrade to an old system doubled my video processing and gaming speeds for pennies compared to newer , less productive upgrades.
