Everything is as described in specifications. Quality is awesome. Enough power for this size flash. Performs reliably. I'm not using it very long. Another thing I noticed is that this flash is perfect for S bracket with beauty dish. And it's possible to slide it thrue all length of flash and cover bulb behind middle part of beauty dish. And it gives really narrow light source without grid which gave me gridded pattern. On diffusion plastic. So this feature give another parameter which can't be produced by regular flash or speedlight.

Having been shown an AD300, and impressed, I decided that the AD200 was a better weight/size/power/price ratio. I bought three for versatile studio shoots and to match/exceed the 600w power of twin AD300s and my 500w Elinchrom twin head. I also bought two triggers. Nikon for my DSLR and Pentax for my medium format DSLR. Also a 30 degrees honeycomb (works best at 50mm (Nikon) or 60mm (medium format). The output, synchronisation, consistency and portability are exceptional. Yes the TTL auto exposure is not always spot on but which multiple flash units are? Not even several Nikon Speedlights. This is the 2nd AD200 I’ve bought and they both provide all my mobile flash needs. 4x the output of a regular branded flashgun and switchable heads to fill any light modifier. I can’t recommend them enough.

This flash is the perfect all rounder for the serious photographer. It’s pretty much plug and play with a Godox trigger. As long as you have a trigger for your system you are good to go.
