Excellent small bandsaw
In this price range, the Charnwood was the only one I found with legs as standard. It makes a difference in a small workshop. It is easy to set up. Again, in the budget price range it is one of few that has full bearing blade guides above and below the blades. It lacks a tension guide but they are mainly guesswork anyway. I have already completed two major projects on it and it has performed better than expectations. Delighted!

Easy to assemble with great features
Unpacked this and had it up and running within the hour. The main body unit is quite heavy so you may need a friend to help you lift, that said the unit is complete, threaded with the blade just requiring the table to be fitted which is a little tricky and of course simple adjustments to the bearings and table, which are easy read in the instructions. I was really not expecting this machine to be so quiet in use, with the very clever light behind the blade. Cuts clean up to 6". A pleasure to use with robust construction, easy adjustments, space saving. Excellent value for money would recommend to everyone. A pleasure to use..
