This is an 8 cup cafetiere. It makes 3 mugs of coffee. It's a good quality coffee maker, it brews in a few minutes and pours very well. The filter pieces come apart easily for cleaning. I haven't used it in the dishwasher, only washed by hand. I would recommend this Bodum, having used it daily since delivery.
