A very handy tool with a comprehensive feature set.
This little AC/DC current clamp meter includes all the current, voltage, diode test, capacitance and resistance/continuity ranges that you'd want for use around the house and car. It has quite a following with the community on a well frequented electrical blog site, including well documented hacks (search using its manufacturer and part number, along with the word 'review'), as well as being used on video by a popular YT electrical rev engineering blogger. I have other much more expensive instruments for use at work but, for the price, this is a great addition to my toolbox. NB - Don't use it to measure your car's starter motor current, at 100A Max it won't be up to that job. Excellent meter at an amazing price
This meter does exactly what it says in the spec. I was a bit skeptical about buying one as it is so cheap but I'm very pleased I did - checked it against my Fluke DMM and its spot on. You do have to be careful when measuring mA DC but that applies to most DC clamp meters - just make sure you zero it when it is close to the measuring position. I was amazed that it was accurate to within a couple of mA. At the price don't hesitate to get one. Oh and the non-clamp measurements are good too.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New
