The assembly instructions for this item are difficult to read and understand as they are very small and could be detailed better as there are lots of different components. The quality is exceptional however. Very pleased for the price we paid and the dispatch time was impeccable. Would use Mercer's again. Thank you.

Putting up the unit was a nightmare as the instructions aren’t clear after screwing and unscrewing screws for several very stressful hours we eventually got it built I’m normally good with flat pack furniture but this tested my patience once build though it’s pleasing to the eye and is a solid unit good quality however I think if the parts were numbered and clearer instructions were available this would probably be a five star review

Fantastic for the money. Instructions were ok only issue I had was if pieces were numbered would be sooo much easier as I got two bits the wrong way round and had to basically start again ! Took a few hours to build , did it on my own. Worth the money completely.

As others have said this is a complex and challenging built even if you are a flat pack veteran. The drawings are not great. There are 100s of pieces. You need at least 3 hours and ideally a helper to build it. I got to putting the draws in, smug that nothing had gone wrong then I realised had put a runner in the wrong direction... you need to concentrate. However when its all together it looks great for the money. Its very sturdy and the top is lovely. Overall I am very pleased with my purchase.

Took a long time to put together, lots of bits & not very clear Instructions, would help if items were marked with corresponding number/letter. However when we finally got it all together its a lovely sideboard & well worth the price, very solid.
