Its smart looking and prints well but cant get it wireless so its connected. But a good product [it had a pen trapped inside where the paper drops in, managed to get it out, but not easy]

So product arrived and first thing I noticed was it looked like it had been taped up by a child so I knew it wasn’t new. Now, when I read the description back I saw to be fair it states it has been opened, may have blemishes and no ink. And guess what it has all three plus more, lucky me. Mark’s across the top, plug bashed, poorly packaged, literally only cable is a plug, ink removed from unit even though box says it comes with it so basically they must by refurbed/second hand printers, strip it down and sell it separately. Now I have to go and spend money on ink. No usb which is needed for set up so need to buy that. No driver so I have to faff around downloading that, probably selling the one from the box separately. Just feel like they have advertised a new beautiful car but when you get it you realise you have brought the shell and wheels and the engine has been removed. Spend the few pence more and just buy from someone who hasn’t stripped out the box. My bad few assuming the pristine new one in the picture is what I was buying. Read full review

So far I have had a great experience and it was fairly easy to use and set up, a lot of which was intuitive. E.g. I was able to connect it to my wifi without typing the password into the device or app. I was able to connect many devises, laptops, desktop, iPad, and phone all at once. I had a little issue setting up and it was quickly resolved but switching it off and on at the mains. The sleek design works well in my open-plan space, I was able to put is behind by sofa on the sideboard and connect with different devices around the flat. I have had bigger devices that only printed and did not scan. This device uses great HP technology and use can print with ease from ANYWHERE on numerous devices (this has been great as I have a mother who had not connected her device and I was able to print on her behalf even though I was out of the flat). My main issue is with the ink. Everyone knows this is one of the most expensive parts of printing at home, to overcome this, I usually refill my ink cartridges. My initial observation, it likely you will only be able to refill the black and would have to continually repurchase the color, as all the colors are combined in one cartridge. If this is an issue for you HP, has an instant ink service and will send you ink when there is a notification that your cartridges are getting low. The price starts from a few pounds and the good thing there is no distinction between the color and the black ink. I’ve printed with different size paper and different finishes with no issue, although I do think this is a great addition to the home it probably won’t be suitable if its intended use was mass printing on a large scale. I took quite a time to work out how to set it up, but I got there in the end. It was a combination of the broadband hub, but I phoned my computer man who told me what to do.
