Practise makes perfect - kind of...
There is no way on this earth that it works like the various YouTube clips show you. It might be because I'm using the heart shape template so I can't speak for the circle one, but it really does take some practise getting it cut the way you want. I still haven't given it enough time but I've managed to cut some semi not torn hearts and it did cut a good Victorian border because the blade stays in the same direction. Perhaps Fiskars could design a better more pointed heart template or give more flexibility/mobility to the blade within the cutter OR a put cog on the Shape Cutter blade that moves against a grooved edge on the template when it comes to cutting into a bend because the blade doesn't want to follow, even though by logic it should.

Absolutely luv this cutter so easy to use you could realy cut any shape you wanted ither free hand or with stensils comes with extra blade and well explained directions and it is in multiple language's very good quality I think this is a must for any crafters kit
