I hope I grow to like this helmet.
This product is new to me. It looks good quality. But It all a bit "Too Busy". Has a powerful fan. A bit too powerful i think. As the air escapes around my ears. Making a wind rushing noise . And making my ears cold. I have tried to fiddle with the cloth seals. But nothing seem to work.Unless I hold the material with my hands. And we all know thats not right. Another issue ive heard of.(I've not had this Issue yet). Is if you accidently drop the helmet. It can jar the fan motor in it mounting, Braking the fins off that support the fan motor in its housing. But there is a fix on youtube. My previous dust helmet was a 3m Airsteam. By far a superiour helmet. Very robust in consruction. Compared to the Trend pro. Which feels like its made of egg shells. Time will tell. My airsteam was twenty years old. Lightweight and comfortable enough to some times forget you have it on
This is a product I have used before it is a good well priced respirator with a nice cool flow of air down across the face which allows the wearing of spectacles without fogging. ok but noisy and uncomfortable
it's OK not as good as expected. Main problem for me is that it is extremely noisy. Also not very comfortable. Therefore I can only use it for short periods of time. Does the job.
I should have bought one of these years ago. When working in dusty environments, this helmet allows comfortable breathing without misting up the visor. The degree of eye and head protection is quite enough for the situations where I'm using it (although there is room for my safety specs as well) and because it is comfortable to wear, I shall be using it a lot. The battery lasts quite long enough for me, too. Great brilliant I suffer with asthma so this helps me a lot in the shed or when I'm cutt wood and mdf also used it when I was spraying the shed. It is a little pricey but well made it is something I have wanted for long time. Trend airshield pro
Worn a few times now and can honestly say well worth the money. Previously wore a separate face shield with a JSP 2 filter mask which was a very good combo but let in dust onto face. With the trend your face is totally enclosed. Air pump is slightly noisy but very bearable and air flow means no steamed up glasses. FFX price cheapest by far. Excellent PPE for doctor with current pandemic .
As an emergency doctor ,I am so lucky to have bought the last one to protect me from contracting Covid19 . It will prevent me from inhaling contaminated breaths from infected patients .It is spacious enough internally for me to wear mask and my glasses for double proctection.unlike other head PPE, I can still use my stethoscope .it is a great product and Will sell well to nhs staffs with the current pandemic . No foggy glasses
