Great little gadget.
As it was the original 'irig' I had read reviews that would suggest that this might be a sub standard version of more recent more 'superior' models but I was pleasantly surprised. This not only is more robust than it deserves for the price - it works like a dream. I can play loud rock riffs all night through my ear phones and no one can complain. Great little gadget. Only reason for four stars was that the box was a little beat up. Other than that can't complain.

Does the job for not a lot of cash.
Just about the cheapest way to practice with your iPhone/iPad. Does the job without much hassle. Watch your volume levels, because it can be prone to feedback (not nice through headphones). Don't expect it to last forever, build quality is a little flimsy. But as a cheap way of hooking your guitar up to your phone, it's hard to beat. For apps, I recommend using Positive Grid's Jamup or Apple's Garageband - the amp models in both are far superior to the IK Amplitube app.
