Definitely the best form of mole trap, providing you know how to set it up. . .. locate tunnel between hills, not at hills . . . carefully dig out a 25x25cm square of earth to expose tunnel . . . insert set trap perfectly in line of tunnel . . .re- cover well but lightly with earth & turf. . . mark spot with a stick. If there’s a mole in the area, you’ll normally catch it within 24 hrs. Virtually infallible.

bit fiddly to set. hard to locate in tunnel without dropping earth in, and needs to be buried under friable soil to allow trap to work. Unlike scissor traps you have to dig it up to see if it's caught anything. However can't argue with results, it caught the mole!

Good product. Reasonable price. These can be difficult to 'set' and you need to mind your fingers. Bit of a challenge to start with, but persist and you will get the knack. Maybe make some sort of 'jig' with a piece of plastic pipe or a cable tie to avoid getting fingers caught.

The traps are very well made, though it takes some dexterity to hold the spring down and engage the little pin that holds it. Mind your fingers! Admittedly, it hasn’t caught the mole yet, but it’s a clever little varmint.
