Not a bad movie. Always appreciate old films with talented actresses and actors. If to anylize this concept even more, it's really going back to a much different era in a time machine. Really it's a wired plot about a man whom uses magic trickery towards the natives to do his will. His guns are called boomsticks to further this illusion. He is crippled, but has a life long revenge plan towards the man who crippled him. The ending is a bit far fetched, expecially after the abuse Virginia Bruce character's takes from the main villain. The pretty Lupe Velez is in this pre code production too. Walter Huston stars as the crippled villain, whom in real life is John Huston's father. Probably my all time classic cinema director. The dvd is of good quality, the story line okay. Anything with early mexican Hollywood star Lupe Velez is a treat. It's a entertaining film. Comical at times when the natives grunt in approval from Flint's commands. I always like writing these reviews about old movies. Maybe future viewers might get educated by watching these movies. I might get educated by reading their reviews. I might even get back on facebook again. But I much love watching these old movies whom Anna May Wong, Deborah Kerr, Clark Gable, Robert Mitchum, Joan Crawford grace my tv screen, then to text all the time. Too honor the memories of these stars is not look up so called scandals and gossip, but to honor their dedicated acting ability by letting the eyes and mind observe what's going on in the picture. Then say, "uum yes. This movie will definitely be in my lovely collection of my quality entertainment inventory of dvds so I can watch it again.". PEACE
