A miser is buried head-first in his pile of Fairy Gold and, in Norman’s version of the hare and tortoise fable, an elf rides a rabbit: ‘And he sits (oh ain’t it funny?). / Looking t’wards the tail of a bunny’.
This is a beautiful little book. It is a facsimile of a book published in 1900. The illustrations are charming and the content is entertaining. Would highly recommend.
