Dell WB7022DDAO webcamera review.
Complete instructions for set up were included, One little issue (which was my fault)....) the camera downloads a 'periphal manager from Dell, so for a new set up, the computer needs to be connected to the internet. But easy to set up, with many on screen controls. The camera will update it's drivers on demand, and works flawlessly with this (Dell XPS Windows 11) machine. 2 types of mounting brackets and plenty of cable are included in a sturdy (I wouldn't to throw it out) box. Lens cover included all wrapped in a sturdy dark metal case. Very nice quality camera, (bit heavy for a laptop's monitor use)....clear, totally adjustable picture and quite easy to use. High expectations were disappointed
I had high expectations for this expensive product, and I was somewhat disappointed. 1) Camera has sharp image when bright but somewhat mediocre low light quality with excessive fixed pattern noise (FPN). 2) Could not get HDR and auto framing to work except on USB 3.0 and with the provided cable 3) Camera seems to burn ~2W (which is excessive) even when not in use and even draws similar power when computer is off. Device always remains always remains warm to touch even when not in use. 4) Device is far bigger and bulkier than it appears in pictures 5) Would have been nice to have an included microphoneVerified purchase: YesCondition: New
