High Octane Dirk Gently
Not exactly the gentle English quirkiness of the Dirk Gently books - this is more like would happen if you locked Douglas Adams in a room with Quentin Tarantino and drip fed them on uppers. It took me a few episodes to get over my snit about it being so different to the books, it's set in the US so his sidekick is quite different and we don't even meet Dirk for quite a while, but I am so glad I persisted, because this is possibly the best TV I have ever seen. Be warned, the body count is high and some of the themes are scary or disturbing - it's definitely not for kids, but reasonably mature teens should love it.Verified purchase: YesCondition: Pre-owned
