    superb contents easy to follow discs

    Amazingly superb contents with easy to follow discs, very good value and very entertaining by well loved characters and actors. engaging as we secretly find something in each of us in the characters!...just love last Of the summer wine, would not be without my own series as they are just superb for most ages to watch. Well acted, funny sentimental, tender moments and seemingly timeless ,Just Superb.

    Funny and comfortable - the characters will become old friends!

    Old school friends in northern Yorkshire reminisce about old days, get up to all kinds of nonsense, and interact with other people in the area. There are quite a few well-known actors in the series. Hyacinth's next door neighbor in "Keeping Up Appearances" arrives late in the LOTSW series as Miss Davenport, the librarian. Bill Owen (who plays Compo) was a regular in the old "Carry On" movies. The series feels a little slow until you get to know the characters; then it is like old home week. I have watched these episodes so many times that I could probably play any part! I never get tired of the beautiful countryside, the warm, fuzzy feeling, and of course, all the laughs! It really is true: They don't make them like this any more.

    The disc's are easy to take from the box also laid out and in order of episodes really engaging programme first time I have viewed this particular programme and find it excellent and very funny. The location is great and some fantastic country side shots. overall a relaxed and easy going programme with out the swearing which is so common these days.

    I just love " Last of the Summer Wine" have done for ever and now I have it on tap so I can dip in at any time. Super value, never seen so many DVDs in one box. Very difficult to insert a "BUT"! but the plastic box they are housed in is a bit difficult to live with, DVDs escape so easily and soon become a muddle. Don't be put off however it is a super product and an absolute bargin Thanks
