Exciting, dynamic, two lead guitars, and good vocals.
Exciting versions of the songs and with a few improvised melodic twin guitar solos that thicken up the sound compared to the original one guitar. The vocals are good and "Soldier of Fortune" is excellent considering the long time gap since the original version. "Sail away" is another highlight on this album that many seemed to have disliked, but as a logtime fan of Purple I'm glad they did these recordings.
