Bettye LaVette - Things Have Changed
If you're looking for pitch-perfect performances this won't be for you. If you're looking for an emotional, passionate and heart-rending performance this certainly will appeal. Only to be listened to when you're in the mood, and definitely not to have on "in the background", this CD demands your full attention and won't disappoint. One for the collection, and well worth persevering with.
