Ceiling bike hanger
Great idea for saving space and storage for a bike. Make sure you get it fixed to some joists otherwise you'll be pulling down the ceiling! The only irritation is that the supplied cord is quite thin. Yes, it supports the bike fine, but it slips too easily out of the pulleys especially as there is quite a gap between the pulley and its casing. You then find yourself straining to haul your bike up using the cord running roughly over the rod the pulley runs on. It works but you have to be careful.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Very good strong product
I spent a long time trying to decide which bike pulleys to purchase. I decided on these ones and then shopped around for the best price as they varied a great deal. Bicycle lift saving space
We bought the product few weeks ago to put it in our house, it works really well but! There is one but :-) we decided to buy new better rope for it as the one supplied with the pulley looks like cheap long shoe lace! And doesn't do the job. Good value for the money
The pulley system was easy to install and looks robust. on the negative side I'm not sure that I would trust the locking catch, but it shouldn't be a problem if you tie off the lifting cord with the bracket provided. Also theres too much space between the rollers and the yoke that holds the rollers in place, which allows the cord to jump off the rollers and jam between the yoke and side of the roller. If a large washer/spacer were placed either side of the rollers, this would help.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Good value but with a couple of snags.
Fairly straightforward to assemble. Good value. Channel the rope is guided onto the pulleys by needs to be narrower as any slack causes rope to slip off the pulleys.
