Excellent results but somewhat expensive
I have a huge fly problem when the sun warms up my house walls and windows. They congregate in the frames, and flood in when the windows are opened. Smearing this pen around the frames has put them off thank goodness - but one pen doesn't go very far (about 5 large windows). I have noted the date I applied the insecticide and hope it will last several weeks. Exactly what it says on the packet
We bought one of these pens many years ago and now we have moved house we marked around some of the windows. The product worked and we found that it was running very low and so we tried to find a replacement. My wife went to the shop where she bought it and was told that the pen was discontinued. She said because it worked and that's why it has been withdrawn. Having researched the internet we came across the product and so we ordered it. Now living in France we were unable to purchase it as they do not ship here, so we had it sent to our daughter and she sent it here. The product is so easy to us, you just wipe it round the edges of the windows and let it do it's magic. That is all you do and all you do after that is sweep the dead flies up. Rentokil multi surface fly killer pen.
The fly killer pen is good. I live in the country and every year it drives us mad with flies, my daughter told me about the pen and said how good it was so I ordered one. I put it where my cats eat around my windows and outer doors even around my TV in the kitchen and it works dead flies. I still get flies but no where near as many. The pen is mightier than the powder
I have used one before and it is a lot less conspicuous than using ant powder. I understand it works by ants taking the poison back to the nest and eventually killing the queen. This is much more effective than just killing off foraging ants.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

It kills
I'm quite happy with this product - buying it for the second time. We've got pharaoh ants and it's nigh on impossible to get rid of them altogether. I've been using the Rentokil pen in areas where we store food and it does the job wonderfully - no ants get past the barrier. Easy to apply and very effective. We've had a problem with tiny (fruit?) flies on the main window in our lounge for a long time. Running the pen round the perimeter of the window has resulted in lots of dead little bodies.
