Little Nipper Mouse trap
I find that this design of mousetrap works the best. The mice in my area seem to get cleverer and they are experts at removing all kinds of bait without springing the traps. These Little Nipper traps have a good treadle action which means the mice have to tread on the treadle to reach the bait and the slightest pressure will trigger the trap. Other lightweight plastic designs don't kill the mice and the mice drag the traps away and lose them.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Lightning death
I put one down with cheese bait and caught a mouse in less than 24 hours - Eco traps are useless and the sticky ones are torture devices. I had to drop a log on the sticky trap outside to kill the unfortunate victim. The little nipper is faster than a French Guillotine -it strikes in one twenty four thousand of a second.Some arrangement is desirable so that the trap is presented end on to the mouse this way the striking bar hits it across the back of the neck as it sniffs the cheese cutting its nervous system. I used a [plastic tray that had held asparagus which was lower at one end than the other - the mouse obligingly used the lower end. I am a whimp the following morning I did not care to pull the spring bar back and drop the mouse into a bin I put the plastic tray and contents into a bag and into a waste bin outside. at just over a pound a trap this makes more sense than trying to wash it.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Good design, poor assembly.
The trap is a good design but the assembly was bad.2 out of 5 worked right off, 2 were hopeless to bait so they would go off when the mouse took the bait. 1 broke when I baited it. I will try to adjust the 2 so they work but I shouldn't have to.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New
