Great Truck to grow with.
Nice, durable, and dependable Truck to start with. It is easy to drive. Excellent customer support with many parts online or at local hobby shops around me. You can start off with a brushed motor version which is pretty quick, then you can upgrade to an extremely fast and powerful Brushless System only having to change the Motor and ESC because it is Brushless ready with a Metal Geared Differential. Awesome, Durable, Fast
If you are new to the hobby, Traxxas is probably the best place to start when considering your vehicle. They are widely available at local hobby shops and online: parts are so easy to find and are mostly affordable. Things will break; it's part of the hobby but in my opinion, the Rustler is a quality RC that can take a beating: shocks tend to get loose and even break with heavy bashing, but replacements are cheap: aluminum caps help here. Great Fast Car
Great product and it came fast. This is a very fast car and loads of fun. I bought it for my 16 years old son's birthday and I hooked. I had to order me one and I am a female and love it!!! I can do what I wish I could on the highway. I do suggest getting an extra battery because it dies after 30 - 35 minutes. They have chargers that charge fast. Great Value for beginner with room to expand for more advanced user.
I bought the Rustler VXL because it didn't break the wallet and it packed a lot of power out of the box. The sweet thing is it is highly customizable and there is plenty of upgrading and expansion along the way. Great car, very fast, good bundle
Bought this car for entertainment during covid-19 events. I'm 30 years old and love my purchase. I did research like most people and found that this is one of the best bang for the buck packages. I figured how to spec everything but still found that buying this combination was still the best. This thing is fast in any parking lot, I don't know how people drive these things at 70mph, 35mph ~ is very impressive. I have ran about 8-9 battery cycles and it is holding up great. Dog has chased it and bite it but still going strong. I don't think about the cost anymore but I think this is a great car to get into the RC hobby. Glad I didn't cheap out and buy any other brand.One thing people don't talk about is battery life with the included battery. I rate it as good. I have not measured it with a clock so I think I will post a youtube video of the battery life. The videos and pictures online really don't show the real quality of this car . Once you get the box and hold the car in your hand you will then relize the quality and amazing engineering I don't know how the tires stay on the rim with all of that torque , car drifting at 25 mph slamming into sidewalk side tires first and continues simply durable You can adjust the height by simply adding shims to your shocks which come in the box Amazing and best thing about traxxas is spare parts availability all over net eBay so if something brakes even the smallest screws are available for each model I love this RC Can you feel the excitement in my sentences I will replace the plastic parts with aluminum made parts available on eBay Look much betterVerified purchase: YesCondition: New

I bought this kit to use for myself and let grandkids learn.... It has been reliable , DURABLE !, and easy to operate ... Buy 1 or 2 extra batteries, you will use them ! Also buy the Traxxas EZ-Peak charger, the one provided with the kit is slower and only works on a lighter port. Best RC Truck for your buck! Well a few bucks
By far hands down the coolest RC vehicle I have ever purchased. Just in 8 days it's done more driving time than any 6 cheaper ones I have bought over the decades. Traxxas is a great brand and I researched before purchasing this and just the cinematic videos I watched on this truck made me want it! It's very durable, hasn't broke anything yet and it's been put through the ringer! My 7 yr old girl and 13 yr old boy absolutely love it. I bought a spare battery and it was wise having 2 children.
