The King of Keytars
By far the best MIDI controller/Keytar I have ever used (and I have tried most) Light wheight, lot's of real time controls (knobs, ribbon, pads, sliders) highly portable, uses just 4 AA batteries and they go a long way. Highly programmable, it can do splits and layers. I have been using it with my ipad pro and garage band, using its wireless conector, amazing fun. Black color looks very cool onstage. I prefer this version to the newest.

Vortex is just ok
Not very solid feeling but for the $ it is the best keytar on the market. I think the Jan Hammer days are long gone (tg) and using it on stage at Coachella will give you the ultimate troll/ dork look.
