Good, but not good enough.
Results certainly sharper than converting video8 via my DV camera, but there is quite a bit of a venetian blind effect where there is significant movement or high contrast images in the footage. I tried the interlacing setting and it did reduce the venetian blind effect but introduced some wobbliness, plus a lower contrast, less sharp image. Used with iMac running OSX 10.11.6, converting video8 & Hi8.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Good product, works well.
Very good product. I had a problem with my CD drive but downloaded the software via their website instead. The user guide is good but probably needs some review and updating on the operating system parts. Regardless, this works and I didn't need to understand Chinese or broken English to read the documents. I had the option to go for a cheaper one but glad I didn't.
