Whether you want to enjoy crispy fries, fry chicken nuggets, deep fry cheese sticks, or cook other food that benefits from frying, you can do it in the comfort of your own kitchen with the Presto Cool Daddy Deep Fryer. The 1,500 watt machine can offer a generous six-cup capacity cooking basket. However, it is still considered a compact kitchen appliance, so it can not take up too much room on the kitchen counter. Presto Cool Daddy Deep Fryers come standard with the following safety feature: a cool-touch exterior and basket handle that doubles as an exterior control to lower food into the oil while frying with the cover closed. Additional features include a charcoal air filter that can reduce odors that are typically associated with deep fryers, and a tight seal cover that can prevent the oil from splattering while cooking. The Presto CoolDaddy 05442 Pro CoolDaddy Deep Fryer also comes with a removable nonstick pot, which can not only make this deep fryer easy to clean but can also make the unit easy to store. An additional feature is an extra-large viewing window that can allow you to keep an eye on your food as it cooks while preventing oil splattering in your face. The Presto Cool Daddy Deep Fryer’s basket handle and carrying handle can fit neatly into the removable pot, making everything easy to store and clean. When assembled, the large capacity basket can fit into the removable pot and the lid clicks into place. On the cool touch fryer base on the unit’s exterior is an adjustable temperature control, an indicator light, and a cover release button, which will release the lid from the unit once you determine the frying is complete. The electric temperature control can allow you to decide how hot you want the oil. Picture gives this CoolDaddy no justice
Looking at fryer with picture provided on eBay gave this fryer no justice. In fact I thought I was buying a typical cheap fryer but I am quite impressed, fryer is real nice, safe and easy to use. Plenty of room for frying food and I love the push button pop lid and handle to easily raise food without the wonder of being burned or not. Very bad quality product
This is the third presto cool daddy I have owned , the first two were amazingly great quality. This one was a disappointment, the lid will not close it pops up I have to force it to catch , the basket that fits into the fry bowl is crooked and we have to push and wiggle the handle to lower it into the oil. This is the most I have paid for a cool daddy and the worse workmanship . If I had know this I would have purchased another brand . Performs Better than Expected
Have only used it a few times but it has performed better than expected. Some other reviews express concern about whether it heats oil to temperatures set on the dial and I found it does. Being able to cover the unit before dropping the basket into the oil does save splattering and extra cleanup. The pot comes out nicely for clean-up. First time used did so with frozen french fries. See-thru window did get somewhat blurred with water condensation but still was able to make-out color of fries as they cooked ... I went by the recommended time in the accompanying booklet and was happy with the result. Very safe for kids
My 14 years old son love trying. Using an open pan on the stove was too dangerous for him. I needed something safe and I found exactly what I wanted in this deep fryer. Have had cooldaddy products and always happy with them.
This is the item I ordered but received a less expensive cool daddy. The one I received does not have the temperature control or on and off dial. This is the worst deep fryer I have ever tried to use. Do not heat properly and would not recommend this product. This product was sent with the side taped from being open prior to me. Not worth 10 bucks that’s how horrible this item is
