I would only use sony and NEVER consider any other brand
I have found the high quality and reliability in colour standards unbeaten. You always get true colours of what you are filming. Reds are red not a pink. Even years later the tapes are top quality when you feed them into a new computer. They travel well and cope perfectly with changes in weather. Whether I use it in a storm or during a drought. I love their reliability. and ease of storage. the tapes are easy to keep labelled and organised. I even have small lined up on a small shelf.
