Usage for .35 Whelen very good
I bought this for a CVA Hunter .35 Whelen for a legal cartridge firearm for Louisiana Primitive Arms hunting season. The rifle was a low cost firearm intended for the short Muzzle Loading season only so I did not go all out for an expensive scope. Not really interested in the straight wall .444 or the .45/70 grouping at long range and the heavy fast dropping projectile (still they are very fine rounds that history proves) I wanted a more flat traveling bottle neck round. The .35 Whelen and this scope blow out the bullseye on targets at 100yds and 200yrds. This is my first year using this set up and have had 3 successful neck kill shots. Not an ounce of damaged meat. I am going to continue through Rifle season with this for the rest of the season for Deer hunting and Hog ratification. The scope seems to stand up to the continuous shock of this round and is clear so I can recommend it this type of firearm.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Great Scope
Great Scope for it's price works really well, but the only reason I gave it 3 out of 5 stars is because when I received the package and opened it the scope packaging had already had cracks in it. Uploaded pictures for proof and after inspection of the scope it didnt seem to have any scratches or any visable damage to it.

Bushnell Trophy XLT 3-9x is solid and clear
I bought one of these to put on an AR-15, which previously had a red dot on it. It was very easy to sight in and is clean and clear. For me as a user, I bought this one and another scope for another rifle at the same time. The other one has an Adjustable Objective, which is actually quite helpful. This feature gives you the ability to adjust the focus based on the range that you are trying to shoot at. This Bushnell model doesn't have parallax problems at short distances, but also has basically a fixed focus, meaning if you try to crank it up to 9x magnification it will only be focused when you are shooting at longer ranges.Verified purchase: YesCondition: Pre-owned
