Cost v Value
Without doubt these genuine replacement heads are first class and as expected, work just as good as the original heads did when first bought. The question of value is that the genuine replacement heads cost between a third and a half of the cost of the original razor. As such, is it worth just replacing the expensive heads on an old razor which may be close to end of life and out of guarantee or buy a new up to date modern reliable and guaranteed razor. I bought replacement heads this time but will go for a new razor next time, ideally with the same quality of heads that Phillips have for the HQ9.

Like getting a new machine
I haven't changed blades for some 7 years and now I understand why they recommend to change blades every year :) It's like getting a new machine. The shaving becomes much more clean and much more fast.
