I have Telefunken , Seimens CCa, Mullard and Amperex PQ. Plus Russian and American NOS . I use a single 6922/ECC88/E88CC as a driver in my Dennis Had Inspire . Only the Telefunken is as flat of a frequency response . But the Red Tip Tesla is my absolute favorite with all of my rectifier/ power tube combinations . Not lacking anywhere in the frequency range, just like Telefunken , BUT WITH A MORE LIQUID TONE ! Tube Museum has absolutely perfect condition Tesla's ! What an absolutely SWEET tube this is !Try them , you will not be disappointed.

I'm using this tube in a Schiit Vali 2 headphone amp. In short: STELLAR! I've rolled four other tubes, up to now preferring a 6dJ8, but the JJ 6922 gave me the warm, intimate jazz club sound I was looking for. There might be a small loss in fine detail but 6DJ8 sounds harsh and brittle by comparison. I can listen to the JJ for hours with no listener fatigue. This was a bargain.

The old original CZECH TESLA FACTORY E88CC tubes are a great value and excellent quality! They are made just like TELEFUNKEN E88CC with the GRAY-SHIELD. THE ARMY VERSION tubes are a "long life" tube. The best of the best are the tubes with the YELLOW Crossed-Swords and "SP" designation and series "32". If you haven't heard or tried these out of production tubes, you should. Highly Recommended tubes with beautiful Sound!
