Genuine GI Mess Tray
I ordered 1 mess tray to check it out before deciding if I should order more. The tray was sturdy and rested on a flat surface with none of that annoying wobble. The tray had a good weight and feel to it, as original GI trays should. The tray had a few minor blemishes on it from storage and prior use but that was to be expected. The blemishes did not impact the functionality or overall appearance of the tray much at all. I used some steel wool to help smooth out the trays and that helped a lot. If you want a genuine mess tray, this is it. I ended up ordering 4 trays in all as I was that pleased with the 1st tray. 2 of the 4 trays each had one small puncture hole near the edge, which would be my only critique. However, the holes did not go through any of the tray's 6 food compartments so it did not impact functionality. All in all great buy.
