Great tube

Better Tone and More Overhead
I used this tube in the V1 slot of my 18 Watt EL-84 head imported and sold by Spec-Ops (A marshall-like clone). The head was a little too much gain for my needs. This solved my tone issues immediately. Best decision ever. I have more clean overhead room now and the tone is more of a crunch sound rather than melt-your-brain overdrive. russia seems to make tubes alot better than china in any case this was a high gain tube and it did just that
I didnt put it in my preamp section but in the phazeection i assume, and it increase the distortion very nice and ven the volume with no problems with the tone, if ya need more gain in your output section buy this tube!Verified purchase: Yes

Preamp upgrade
These made a huge difference in my Little Bear T10 v2.2. Cut Hum in half which wasn't bad before but is nonexistent now! This is 3rd set and my experience has been that performance improves as they have time to burn in, about 8 to 10 hours. If that holds true they will be phenomenal.
