This is nearly perfect quartz watchmaking...
Wow. At this price point, what a fantastic quartz watch. It's definitely edgy, with those bold brushed aluminum raised numerals and the curved crystal. That said, my only beef is that the crystal is not Sapphire. Given the price I paid it's hard to be upset, but I would think watch this gorgeous would earn a sapphire on top. Past reviewers have referred to the second hand on this watch with one word: MESMERIZING. And I cannot disagree. Watching it sweep smoothly at an imperceptible 16 beats a second is truly beautiful to watch. And what with the accuracy claims of plus or minus 10 seconds a year, this surely is not your ordinary quartz movement. I love the dial, a shiny chocolate brown with concentric circle textures... the sporty chapter ring around the outer edge... It's nice! And, little did I know... The croc leather strap has a double deployant clasp! That's a really nice touch and makes the watch feel a lot more luxurious. Definitely makes me glad I went for the strap and not the bracelet. Whether you go with the black one, which will be cheaper, or this lovely Brown model, you won't be disappointed.
