  • Super Badass is it?

Well all I can say is it's Ok. Good points are sturdy build, good EQ control. Bad points are doesn't sound so good through a solid state amp. I felt there was a lack of sustain with distortion set half way, also it is not particularly transparent and individual notes picked in chord work get lost in the distortion. Turning distortion to full makes things better, you can get a decent metal tone by tweaking the EQ but there is no inbuilt compression. I think before you buy you must try it for yourself and not do what I did and go by YouTube clips, we all have different desires when it comes to guitar tone and this pedal may suit you well.
