Despite being made by a reputable company, these strap locks are very cheaply made. They are large and clumsy and don't feel very safe when in use. The top lock part (that spins) comes out of the larger piece very easily. I would probably try a different make next time

I've used the round style Dunlop strap locks for many years. They're not expensive and they do the job. However, my acoustics have a larger strap button and the round strap locks are hard to fit. These new triangular design locks work perfectly with my acoustics. I've seen reviews that say they're stiff to twist lock but I've never experienced this. Basically they're nothing fancy and inexpensive but they do a great job.

Just got a new Gibson Les Paul and didn’t really fancy removing parts of the guitar to put on metal strap locks. . These little devices do the job just as well, without having to mess with your actual instrument. Easy to fit and very secure when fitted. Would recommend to anyone as a cheap and effective guitar strap lock..

It is very good for guitar straps that are a bit worn . One or two knobs on guitars are too big for it . Publishing the size of the hole would be good .
