THE best stick for flight sims that support FFB devices. I have owned a lot of sticks. I even have a TM Warthog. I recently purchased a second MSFFB2 as a backup in case the one I have ever fails me or I feel like attempting to mod the older one with a stick with more buttons. This stick is essential for DCS Blackshark 2, and I love it for any ww2 or ww1 flight sim with the shaking as a stall indicator and the stiffening of the forces when pushing the limits of my bird. I still use my warthog stick for DCS - A-10c, or any other more modern DCS jet and also Falcon BMS due to the amount of buttons available. But a future mod to this stick may eliminate my need for that all together, and to be honest, I've been way more partial to bi-planes, prop planes, and the Ka-50 while simming since obtaining the MSFFB2. I just wish it had more buttons.. *eyeballs x52 pro stick gathering dust*.. yeah.. I think I'll call it Frankenfeedback.Read full review

You already know what the Sidewinder 2 FFB is or you wouldn't be looking for one, since they haven't been made for years. I'm using it for Rise of Flight in order to get the feel of a WWI biplane, and it really adds to the realism. The seller put this up at a good price, was true to their word on the condition and shipped it promptly and securely. You can likely get the same here on ebay, as there are a few still to choose from. If you want ffb, you have a limited choice, and every year that goes by there will be fewer and fewer around. It's a economic choice to feel the feedback ... go ahead and get one.

This is still the best Force Feedback stick for the price but no longer manufactured and only available in the third party marketplace. I recommend purchasing an extra for parts replacement should your primary ever break. "Digi-Key" manufactures replacement switches for the internals

I had the original Microsoft Sidewinder Force Feedback Pro. I helped test one of the first versions of the adapter for the gameport - usb adapter. I bought the Force Feedback 2 to test if some of the issues I was having in War Thunder were due to the joystick or the program. It was the program. They simply don't make joysticks like this anymore. All the sensors are optical so they never wear out.

The sidewinder force feedback 2 is still a great choice for 2024. Provides force feedback which is much more important to me than flashy buttons and led’s on a $200+ HOTAS.

Plug and play to this day (Windows 10). I never thought force feedback would add so immensely to my flight sim experience but, coupled with VR, it really adds a new level of immersion.

Some people say you need the "PRO" joystick to work in Win7. Well mine works fine, and no downloading drivers either. I just hooked it up and rebooted, gave it a couple minutes and started MS combat flight 1. You can feel the guns when you fire them, the landing gear rumble disappears as you lift off from the ground, most or all of the Force feedback functions work! I'm happy with this used joystick.
