Good quality strong Barley Wine.
If you like your ale strong and want to save a bob or two or more, or rather much more, regards pub or off licence and supermarket prices then this wee beauty is for you's! I have brewed about ten of these kits now and and I do recommend, ( much ). I add double sugar now at the primary fermentation stage and end up with a final ABV of just over 10%, The ale/final product always tastes quite good as well, quite good, always. A potent brew
I enjoyed this particular brew a great deal' it has a wonderful aroma with a very malty taste but it is not a drink for the faint hearted. If you enjoy just 1 or 2 beers at a time then this will certainly hit the spot as it is a tasty but potent brew with a wonderful finish. It has all the attributes of the best home brew beers but none of the kit beer after tastes.
