This is a very well written book, it is indeed an eye opener as advertised. Bearing in mind it was last updated in 2004, it's topics are still relevant but you will have to judge it against the world situation today in regards to the climate and the anthropogenic impacts on our world. Relatively optimistic scenarios in 2004 do not make for optimism in 2020. Wish it was more up to date.

  • Wake up world.

With all the problems of population growth and global warming this should be essential reading for every adult in the world. I find the whole concepted frightening. An excellent read.
