I started using COQ10 several years ago when my Dr recommended it to supplement a statin. Some studies indicate that it reduces the incidence of leg cramps however the evidence is not conclusive. I have always used it with the statin and have never suffered cramps so I don't want to tempt fate...but I don't want to go broke either. A good price for a product that works for me
CoQ10 supplement is being taken to restore CoQ10 levels in the blood that are depleted from taking cholesterol-lowering drugs. Since while taking the product with a cholesterol-lowering preparation I have none of the symptoms of depleted CoQ10, I can only conclude that for me at least the product is effective.
