These Nikon L820's have an excellent build quality and are easy to use. Also they are just the right size and weight. Great that they full HD video. The photo color balance is perfect. The batteries last well particularly if you use good quality rechargeable such as the AA Duracell 2500 mAh Ultra type. Wonderful little camera!
I was pleasantly surprised by the build quality of this camera when considering the price of it. It has many useful features which make it a 'step up' from the usual 'point and shoot' camera. Not only does it take very acceptable photos but it looks great too! If you want quality pictures and a camera that looks pretty 'cool' then you can't go wrong with this little Nikon. Great little point & shoot
Love this camera more than I thought I would. I have the D3200 and tussle with it a bit, never quite feeling confident that I can achieve the results I want, despite specific training on it. Of course, there's a lot less to think about on the L820 and I do miss some functionality such as f-stop overrides with the fixed lens - but you can tweak a surprising amount.
