Great Clarity
I'm very pleased with this thermometer. I've had other brands but this is by far the best. My house windows are tinted and the text on the viewing screen is easily read with the white background cover provided with the product. Other similar thermometers don't provide the cover and their smoke-colored viewing screen is difficult, if not impossible sometimes, to read from the inside.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Stick to some other thermometer. This one does not stick!
This is an outdoor thermometer. It comes with a supposedly sticky strip to attache it on the outside of a window. Not 24 hours after attaching it, we had some rain and the next morning the thermometer no longer was in place having falled off the window. Our previous Lacrosse Technology thermometer which died a different death, was securely sticking on the window for years. Dandy thermometer wth high/low for the day
This seems to be the only large digital thermometer that can be read from a distance and also has the high and low temperatures for the day. The unit seems to be accurate and reliable for day to day use. While not recommended, I mount mine outside beneath a canopy over my patio. The instructions say to mount it inside against a window to read outside temperatures ... this does not work well with dual pane windows. This is the third unit I have purchased ... Nice thermometer, but won't stick to window if there is any kind of moisture outside
The pro is, is that it is very easy to see the temperature, but the con is the first time it rains, it gathers moisture under the double sided tape that sticks it to the window, and then it falls off the window. When I checked that it was good quality, the thermometer itself is, but the sticky double sided tape they use to adhere it to the window, is not.

It seems to be accurate.
An excellent product. Easy to read numbers during daylight. Not so much at night. Would like to have and extra set of adhesive pads which would make moving and mounting the thermometer to another location easier. I have mine in a North facing kitchen window.
