works decently for older machine
I watched a you tube video to learn how to use this mixer. The one in the video was a newer, stronger model, which worked better than mine seems to. I have learned by experimentation how to make nice bread with this mixer. I have to knead the very last of the flour in by hand, as it stops mixing and simply spins the dough around if it gets too dry in the bowl. So, it doesn't do all the work for you, but it definitely speeds up the mixing time. In my opinion, it is worth the clean-up time and the slight inconvenience. I think a person needs to make at least a 4-loaf batch, as a smaller batch would not mix up as well. I cannot comment on the blender feature, as I already have a blender that I am happy with, and use instead.Verified purchase: YesCondition: Pre-owned
