These are the best pipe cutters that I have used. I'm a profession event plumber and make thousands of cuts with these each season. They have a heavy duty blade that will tackle most jobs and are light and easy to use. and they'll cut any pp or ppe pipe up to 42mm - I even use them on 50mm pipes. Cuts larger sizes OK! Seems very sharp but has major problems with 22mm barrier pipe even with the additional notch in the jaws for cutting smaller pipes. Have reverted back to my 20 year old set. Perhaps it is only intended for more rigid applications. Can get by if you have space to rotate pipe mid cut otherwise it squeezes the pipe flat. Heavyweight design with quality steel blade.
This is the 3rd cutter I have purchased. It will be the last time I look for one as this wipes the rest effortlessly. The weight is half as much again as the cheaper 42mm cutters. The finish and feel is worlds apart. The blade is clearly good steel and honed to a proper sharpness with correct cutting angles.
