Current slide {CURRENT_SLIDE} of {TOTAL_SLIDES}- Best-selling in iPods & MP3 Players
For my needs, it is cumbersome to use and load. I purchased this as a replacement to an older Clip Zip that died. This ClipSport is the replacement model at approx the same price point, (and I guess others feel that the functionality is moving backwards since ClipZips now cost almost double what they used to be). First of all, when songs play, the ClipSport shows only an image of the playlist, and the song is written in tiny letters underneath, hard to see. Second, in order to download a playlist, you create a folder where all the songs in that folder become a playlist, then download it to this Clip Sport. However, a song can not appear in multiple playlists unless you put it in one folder, download that list, then move it to another folder and download that playlist, etc. For my purposes, I need to have several different iterations of the same playlist, which makes it incredibly convoluted to keep moving 4 or 5 songs from folder to folder, creating and downloading a playlist each time. Then it's hard to remember where the songs are stored when in case I need them again. If you are happy to just download single albums and never need to repeat a song in different playlists, then it's great - easy as pie! But still, for the same price, SanDisk is giving you less than they used to.Read full review

The problem is that the function lock button is very easy to press so it will unlock easily by itself in your pocket. It will turn itself off or change settings by itself. I had an old SanDisk which had a physical switch instead of a button function lock which worked perfectly. Don't buy this if you plan on putting it in your pocket! It would be fine on an armband.

Small and simple, this mp3(& many other formats) player is robust and easy to use. The clip keeps it securely attached to a pocket, sleeve, or belt. Battery life is AWESOME! Over 20 hours per charge. Sound quality is great and customizable for individual tastes. 8gb + microSDHC for lots of storage. The FM radio even works great (as long as the headphones are attached)! The small size and light weight make it great for working out or running, and less obvious than carrying a big expensive smartphone out in the open that could make you a target for criminals. I highly recommend this small inexpensive player!

I bought this to dump music on so I have a decent selection since my car is older and only has a cassette/FM and is everything I asked for. It just plays music NO FRILLS no special features or anything. I also use this for jogging and hiking to free up space and battery on my phone. The screen is also plastic instead of commonly used glass which will prolong its use. I recommend getting these cheap silicon skins they sell for a few bucks just for added protection.

It really is as small as it looks, even too small maybe. The microSD card and the amound of music you can put on it does make it worth the price. If you are used to seeing album or artist artwork with the music then you are out of luck. I will say the playing volume is the loudest of any music player I've had if that is sometihng you are looking for.
