Thread repair kit.
The best helicoil type kit out there. I bought one of the cheaper, imitation kits and they always fail after a few uses because the insertion tool isn't properly hardened. Don't waste your money buying the cheaper kits, buy this one and you won't need to buy again. Word of warning, don't use the cheap inserts with this kit. They may look the same but again, they just don't work. The genuine V-coil inserts aren't expensive, work easily and will give you peace of mind.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Excellent bit of kit for perfect new threads
Brilliant bit of kit. Had to create two new threads in an engine case and this kit worked a treat. The tap is very sharp and took minimal effort to cut the new threads.
