Defender gas strut conversion
The kit itself is well made and fitting instructions are easy to follow. However, the geometry of the brackets means it doesn’t clear the door card when closing, popping the corner away from the door frame. A quick internet search indicates many others purchasers have had the same issue. Very frustrating for such an expensive modification, although it does work well once installed.
