I really don't want to review a product when I just use it for a few day, so I have had this product for a month now, and here are what I notice: _I always plug the unit in the cigarette slot, so I don't know the battery life. Pros: _Been through rainy days, or super hot days in Texas, the unit still keeps up with the signal very well. _Some local places cannot be found by the device itself, better link it with a smart phone and send the address to the unit using the smart phone. _Finding places and loading routes are fast. Cons: _Loading the route to out of state location is really slow. _If you enter a place that far far away, it's hard to show the whole route since the unit is not good at displaying street. In Austin, at some places, it just shows an arrow indicates which direction I'm going (it even doesn't display the street where I'm going on), and some main streets. _The suction cup is somewhat... unreliable. Sometimes, it hold the unit in place really well, but sometimes, it always fells down on the dash.Verified purchase: YesCondition: Refurbished

Tested; screen was so cloudy, barely read the map directions.
I tested it from Shoprite, Bayonne, NJ about 4 miles from our home address, 315 Stegman Parkway, Jersey City, NY - to my dismay, the screen was “cloudy” can’t see clearly the map direction, but it’s talking. Garmin is the way to go...
This is my 5th Garmin. Every time one of my kids or grandkids needed one I would give them mine and purchase the latest one. I came home with my 1st Garmin, purchased about 8 years ago, after updating my daughters, and grand-daughters, because the original one did not have lifetime updates. This is my way of saying Garmin's last forever (at least 8 years :-) I have been using this for about 6 weeks and I love the voice command. It's not as accurate (voice recognition) as I would like but it is convenient. Using the Bluetooth with the phone is accurate, also. I LOVE this product!!!Verified purchase: YesCondition: Pre-owned

Not what I expected.

product NOT is satisfactory condition
The mounting device for the devise was broken and the actual device could not be mounted . The screen has several blue steaks in it that are , I would surmise , are pixels that are destroyed .
